
Three Tigers Honored During NorPac All-Conference Banquet

Farmville, Vir. - Juniors Katy McDonough (Ventura, Calif.) and Lisa Muhl (Harleysville, Pa.) were named to the NorPac All-Conference teams, while sophomore Sarah Miceli (Los Gatos, Calif.) earned the Julie Nagel Extraordinary Teammate Award. McDonough earned the top honor for the Tigers by being named to the NorPac All-Conference First Team. A two-time NorPac Offensive Player of the Week, McDonough leads Pacific with five goals, seven assists and 17 points. Muhl was named to the NorPac All-Conference Second Team. The Tigers leading defender, Muhl leads the conference with six defense saves. Lisa has the steadying force for the Pacific defense, which has held eight of their 15 opponents to two goals or less. Miceli was presented the Julie Nagel award which is given to sophomore who shows extraordinary care and support of her teammates, genuine love for the sport and her academic institution, possesses a great spirit and has deep appreciation for life and those around her. It was established in honor and memory of the late Julie Nagel, an Appalachian State sophomore who passed away during the 2005 season. NorPac All Conference First Team
