Kedibone Leubane Named to All-Region Second Team

Leubane receives All-Region honors after leading the Tigers in scoring in 2007

Glen Allen, Virginia - The National Field Hockey Coach's Association announced Nov. 14 that junior field hockey standout Kedibone Leubane has been named to the West Region Second Team for her performance throughout the 2007 season.

Leubane led the Tigers in 2007 with ten goals and five assists, which were both team highs on the season, and she also scored two game winning goals on the year. Kedibone's game winners came in a three goal effort against NorPac foe Davidson and in the Tigers' comeback win over Cal when she scored twice in the contest.

"Kiddy is a feisty competitor," said head coach Linda MacDonald. "She is a scrappy and aggressive player with a good eye for the ball around the goal."
