2003: In her third season at Pacific, Katie was called upon to lead a young defense, becoming the anchor of a squad that held its opponents to one goal or less seven times and to two goals or less 15 out of 18 games. For the season, Katie played in 17 games for Pacific while starting 16 times. Called upon to focus more on defense, Katie fired off a career-low three shots during the season. However, with her counterpart in the middle, she created a formidable defensive center that opponents feared.

2002: McCurdy started 13 games of her 19 games as a sophomore. For the season, Katie totaled two points on two assists and 11 shots on goal.

2001: In her first season for the Tigers, Katie saw action in 18 games, including 17 starts. On the season, she tallied 11 shots on goal and recorded two points on two assists.

High School: Katie attended Westlake High School in Thousand Oaks, Calif., where she lettered in both volleyball and soccer for the Warriors. During her career she captained her team to two league championships and was subsequently named to the All-Marmonte League, the all-county and the All-CIF teams for 1999 and 2000.

Club Team: McCurdy played as a member of the Southern California Olympic Development Program Pool from 1997 to 1999 and is was a member of the Fram Soccer Club, which is considered to be one of the top youth club teams in the Premier Coast League.

Personal: Born in Upland, Calif. on March 24, 1983, she is the daughter of Robert and Cheryl McCurdy. Katie plans to graduate with a degree in sport sciences.
