For the third consecutive season, Kelsey played in and started all 20 games for the Tigers. In three seasons, Nagel has started all 57 games that the Tigers have played during her career. Again, Nagel led a Tigers' defense that posted five shutouts on the season and held opponents to one goal or fewer in 15 of their 20 games. In addition to her defensive play, Nagel provided the Tigers with a big target in the middle of their set offenses, notching one goal on the season off of a corner kick set. Her single goal was the deciding goal for the Tigers in their 3-1 win over Fresno State on September 9. It was her first game-winning goal of her career. In addition, Kelsey helped on three other goals throughout the season to finish the year with a career-best five points. For her play, Nagel was recognized as a First Team All-Big West Conference defender, her second all-conference selection in as many years.

2004 (Sophomore):

For the second season in a row, Kelsey provided superior play in the backfield that anchored the Tigers' defense. She was one of four players to play in and start all 19 games in 2004. While defensively holding opponents to one goal or fewer in 13 games including six shutouts, Nagel also provided offense for Tigers. Her size and strength enabled her to net two goals on the season, scoring twice in the Nike Invitational, with one each against the University of Northern Iowa and Nevada. For her play on the field Kelsey was named an All-Big West Honorable Mention, the first all-conference award of her career.

2003 (Freshman):

Nagel made an immediate impact in her first season with the Tigers as she stepped into the backfield, adding toughness and attitude. Kelsey finished the season as one of six Tigers to play in all 18 games and one of four to start every game. Her first collegiate goal came against UC Riverside on Oct. 20, a game the Tigers won 3-0. Against Fresno State, on Sept. 9, Kelsey made two defensive saves, keeping the game at a 2-2 draw.
