2003: In her first season in the Orange and Black, Sadye made her presence felt on both ends of the field. Her versatility gave the Tigers multiple options on the attacking front. Sadye started and played in 17 games for Pacific, missing just one game during the season. She tallied one goal and three assists, finding the back of the net on Sept. 26 at Portland State. Her 22 shots during conference play placed her eighth in the Big West overall and helped her earn All-Big West Conference Honorable Mention recognition in her first season in the Big West. Junior College: Before coming to Pacific, Reish attended Cypress College in Cypress, Calif. As a Charger, Sadye was selected to the All-Orange Empire Conference First Team in both 2001 and 2002. In her first season, she scored 14 goals and had 11 assists. She bettered her output in her second season as she scored 15 goals and had 11 assists. With her tremendous season, Cypress won the conference title and continued its dominance over the rest of the conference as it extended its 92-game unbeaten streak to 86-0-6. High School: Sadye attended El Dorado High School in Placentia, Calif., where she lettered in soccer in each of her four years. In her freshman season, Reish was given the Coaches Award for her team, an honor that would be repeated for her efforts during her senior season. In addition to the Coaches Award, Sadye received All-Empire League First Team honors during her sophomore and senior seasons. Off the field, she was placed on the school's Honor Roll and was named a Distinguished Scholar. Club Team: Reish has played for the Jusa Select Club team. Personal: Born in Fullerton, Calif. on August 24, 1983, she is the daughter of Pat Reish. Sadye has three older siblings, Jolene, Nathan and Karly. She plans to graduate with a degree in communication and a minor in business marketing. |
