2005 (Junior):

Smiley became one of the Tigers' regular starting midfielders in 2005, playing in 19 games while starting 16. In her third year, Jennifer found her scoring touch for the Tigers, netting a career-best three goals from the midfield. She finished fourth on the team in points with seven as she also added one assist on the year. Smiley's first goal of the season came in the Tigers first game of the season, a 5-0 rout of Portland State on August 26. Smiley struck again on September 11, notching her first career game-winning goal as she led the Tigers to a 2-1 win over San Jose State. She continued the winning trend in the conference season, pushing the Tigers to their second consecutive win over UC Santa Barbara, a 3-2 victory, on October 21. Even when not scoring, Jennifer's lone assist of the season set up the game-winning goal for Pacific in its 2-0 win over UC Irvine on October 16.

2004 (Sophomore):

During her second season as a Tiger, Jennifer played in 15 of Pacific's 19 games while getting the start at Long Beach State on Oct. 8. Offensively from the midfield, Smiley took seven shots and earned two points on two assists. Smiley provided one of the biggest assists of the season as she setup the game-winning goal on Oct. 22 as the Tigers took down UC Santa Barbara on the road. Jennifer's first collegiate assist came earlier in the season on Sept. 19 as she set up one of the Tigers' four goals on route to a victory over San Jose State.

2003 (Freshman):

Playing in all 18 games for the Tigers, including 11 starts, Jennifer added a strong leg to the midfield. A threat from any place on the field, Smiley would regularly blast a shot from 35 yards out, forcing defenses to pay attention to her at all times. Jennifer scored her first collegiate goal on Oct. 3 at Idaho, a game the Tigers won 2-1, capitalizing on a mishandled clearance.

High School:

Jennifer attended Rio Americano High School in Sacramento, Calif. and was a four-year letterwinner and starter for the soccer team. In each of her four seasons, Smiley was named to the All-Capital Athletic League Team and twice was named to the Sacramento Bee's All-City Team. While leading the Raiders in scoring for three seasons, she was named the Offensive MVP of the team and the overall team MVP for two seasons. Jennifer also served as team captain for two of her seasons.

Club Team:

Smiley has been a member of the Elk Grove Pride, which finished ranked No. 2 in the nation in 2003. She was the team's starting center mid-fielder and served as the team's captain for two seasons.
