2006 (Junior):
Coming off a break out season in 2005, Van Dorn followed with a career season during her junior campaign that culminated with a selection to the All-Big West Conference Second Team. In 2006, Mandi led the Tigers in every offensive category as she posted a career-high 17 points on seven goals, a career best, and three assists. Of her seven strikes on net, three of Van Dorn's goals sealed wins for Pacific as she posted game-winning goals against Portland State, Air Force and San Francisco. Against San Jose State, Mandi posted the Tigers' first two goals of the contest, tying her single game high set last season against Portland State. Of her three assists, one set-up the game-winning strike in Pacific's 2-1 upset of No. 22 Fresno State on September 22. With 14 career goals, Van Dorn ranks eighth on the Tigers' all-time goals scored list as she enters her senior season. Additionally, Mandi sits in ninth place on the points scored list with 36 career points. Off the field, Van Dorn continued her excellence as she was selected to the Academic All-Big West team for the second year in a row.
2005 (Sophomore):
Van Dorn broke out in her second season in the Orange and Black, playing in all 20 games for the Tigers while starting 19. She notched five goals during the season; second most on the team in 2005. In addition to her goals, Mandi notched four assists, tying for the team lead, giving her 14 points, once again tying her for the team lead. Van Dorn jumped into the season with a five point performance against Portland State on August 26, notching two goals and one assist in Pacific's first game of the season. She struck again against San Jose State on September 11, netting the first goal of the game in the Tigers' 2-1 win over the Spartans. On October 2, against Sacramento State, Van Dorn posted her first game-winning goal of the season, leading the Tigers to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Hornets. Mandi added an insurance goal for the Tigers against UC Irvine on October 16 to help Pacific pick up an all important, 2-0, conference shutout over the Anteaters. Off the field, Van Dorn garnered her first Academic All-Big West Conference team recognition of her career.
2004 (Freshman):
A strong presence in the Tiger offense, Mandi saw action in all 19 of the Tigers' contests in her freshman campaign while starting in 11 games. She finished tied for fourth on the team with five points after netting two goals and tallying one assist in 2004. Van Dorn scored her first collegiate goal on September 22 at Fresno State and later posted her first assist against Cal State Fullerton on October 15. However, her most important shot and goal came on October 22 as she netted the lone goal of the contest, a game-winning strike against UC Santa Barbara, giving the Tigers their first win over the Gauchos in nearly a decade. Continuing off her late season success, Mandi exploded offensively for the Tigers during the spring exhibition season, netting six goals in seven games including a hat-trick against the Women's Professional Soccer League champion California Storm on April 2.
High School:
Mandi attended San Ramon Valley High School in Danville, Calif., where she was a four-year letterwinner on the soccer team. During her time with the Wolves, Mandi was named to the All-East Bay Athletic League Second Team in 2003 and to the First Team in 2004 as a senior. For her play, Van Dorn was also named to the Cal-North State Team and to the NSCAA All-Far West High School Team for two consecutive seasons. In the classroom, Mandi received the distinction of All-CIF Scholastic honors throughout her high school career.

Van Dorn was a member of the three-time state champion Dublin High Energy.
Personal:
Born in Walnut Creek, Calif., she is the daughter of Rob and Cindy Van Dorn. Mandi has one younger sister, Allie. She plans to graduate with a degree in sport sciences.
