2006 (Freshman):
In her first year as a Tiger, Katie saw limited action for Pacific as she played in four games. Ward saw her first collegiate action against Colorado College on September 1. She also saw time against Hawai'i, Long Beach State and UC Santa Barbara.
High School:
Katie graduated from Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, Calif., where she was a four-time letterwinner in soccer. During her four years at Christian Brothers, Ward distinguished herself as an All-Sac Valley Conference and an All-Sacramento City defender for the Falcons. In addition, she was named her team's Most Valuable Defensive player as she led Christian Brothers to a conference and division championship in her final season.
Club Team:
Ward has played for the San Juan Soccer Club during her club career prior to coming to Pacific.
Personal:
Born in Sacramento, Calif., she is the daughter of Gail and Gary Ward. Katie has three younger siblings, John, James and Madelyn. She is currently undecided in her major plan of study.
