2004 (Junior): D'Errico excelled both on and off the field for the Tigers as a junior, earning All-Big West Conference First Team and CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team recognition. She was also distinguished as Pacific's 2004-05 Big West Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year. Ashlie started each of the Tigers' 59 games behind the plate and recorded a .266 batting average in 177 at bats. She led the squad with 16 doubles and ranked second with 36 RBI. Her 16 doubles placed her in fourth position in the Pacific single season record book, while her 36 RBI placed eighth. An excellent defensive catcher, D'Errico gunned down 54.0 percent (20-of-37) of attempted base stealers for the season and recorded a .994 fielding percentage. She enters her senior season in a tie for fifth place in the Pacific career record book with 30 doubles and in a tie for eighth place with 71 RBI. 2003 (Sophomore): D'Errico started each of Pacific's 58 games as a sophomore. She recorded a .226 batting average with 11 doubles, four home runs, and 20 RBI in 164 at bats. Her 11 doubles placed her second on the team and fifth in the Big West Conference. In Big West Conference games, Ashlie hit .286 with eight doubles and 10 RBI. She went 5-for-7 with two doubles, one home run, four runs scored, and four RBI in the final two games of the Tigers' three-game series against Utah State Apr. 18-19, at Bill Simoni Field. D'Errico recorded at least one hit in five of Pacific's final six contests of the 2003 campaign. She was selected to the Big West Academic All-Conference Team and was recognized as a Pacific and Big West Conference Scholar-Athlete following the 2002-03 academic year. 2002 (Freshman): D'Errico started 58 of Pacific's 60 games as a freshman. She tallied a .196 batting average with 16 runs scored, three doubles, one home run, and 15 RBI. She stole five bases in six attempts. Ashlie recorded five RBI in Pacific's four games at the Campbell/Cartier Tournament Feb. 15-16. High School: D'Errico attended Highland High School, where she was a four-time All-Golden League First Team selection. During the summer of 2001, she was named an All-American at the Under-18 Gold Fastpitch National Tournament in Marietta, Ga. As a senior, she was selected as her team's Defensive Most Valuable Player and the Highland HS Athlete of the Year. She was also named to the All-C.I.F. First Team, the all-state team, the Antelope Valley Press First Team, the Daily News First Team, and the Los Angeles Times First Team. As a junior, D'Errico was named the Golden League Player of the Year and was an All-C.I.F. and all-state selection. Personal: Ashlie D'Errico was born on Jan. 7, 1983, in Altus, Okla. She is the daughter of Morgan D'Errico. She is a double major in English and mathematics and is in her fourth year at Pacific. Ashlie plans to attend law school after graduation. She is without a doubt one of the best defensive catchers in the country, as well as one of the great leaders in the country and a great leader on our team.
