2008 (Sophomore):
Gradwohl continued her second season with the Tigers and saw action in 16 games, two of which were starts on April 13 and 19 against UC Riverside and Cal State Fullerton, respectively. In 15 at bats she connected for two hits, starting things off with a double on Feb. 23 vs. Florida Atlantic when she also scored her first run of the season and then against UC Riverside on the April 13 contest.
2007 (Freshman):
In her first full season of action, Nicole played in 10 games for the Tigers including two starts. Gradwohl picked up her first career collegiate hit in the Tigers' 7-3 win over Liberty on March 8 at the Hawai'i Spring Fling. Her one hit resulted in her first career Run Batted In as she drove in the Tigers' second run in a four run eighth inning that downed the Flames.
2006 (Medical Redshirt):
Nicole medically redshirted the 2006 season. Before her injury, Gradwohl saw action in two games, scoring two runs.
High School:
Gradwohl is a 2005 graduate of Livermore High School in Livermore, Calif., where she was a four-time letterwinner in softball. A standout shortstop for the Cowboys, Nicole led Livermore to four straight North Coast Section championships and three consecutive third place finishes in the East Bay Athletic League. For her play after her junior season, Gradwohl was named to the All-EBAL First Team while being named her team's MVP and earning a coach's award. Off the field, Nicole was a standout student as she was named to the Principal's Honor Roll and earned her Academic Block & Star and Honor Cords for graduation. In addition, Nicole earned the status as a life-time member of the California Scholarship Federation.
Personal:
Nicole Gradwohl was born in Livermore, Calif. She is the daughter of Mike and Linda Gradwohl and has two brothers, Matt and Danny. Nicole is a business administration major in her third year at Pacific.
