2004 (Junior): Harrell competed in a career-high 31 contests as a junior, including 15 starts. After suffering a broken left pinky finger in the team's annual alumnae game on Jan. 31, Jennifer was limited to pinch-running duty for roughly the first third of the season. She appeared as a pinch-runner for the Tigers nine times while recovering from the injury and scored six runs. Once she returned to full-time duty on Mar. 31, she batted .255 (13-for-51) with one double and four RBI. Harrell had a five-game hitting streak from Mar. 31-Apr. 4, hitting .429 (6-for-14) over that span. 2003 (Sophomore): Harrell saw time in 27 games as a sophomore, including seven starts. She hit .333 (8-for-24) for the year with two doubles, one triple, one home run, four stolen bases (in four attempts), and five RBI. Jennifer was 5-for-11 (.455) in Big West Conference action. She came in as a pinch-hitter in the bottom of the sixth inning in the first game of Pacific's non-conference doubleheader against Portland State on Mar. 26, and belted a two-run home run, the first of her career, to invoke the eight-run rule in an 8-0 Tiger win. 2002 (Freshman): Harrell competed in 25 games for the Tigers as a freshman. She had two hits in eight at bats (.250) and scored seven runs. High School: Harrell attended St. Mary's High School in Stockton, Calif., where she was a three-time All-San Joaquin Athletic Association First Team selection. Following her senior season, Harrell was named the San Joaquin Athletic Association Most Valuable Player. She led the league in runs scored that season. Personal: Jennifer Harrell was born on Nov. 15, 1983, and is the daughter of Mike and Gayle Harrell. She is an education major in her fourth year at Pacific and plans to become a teacher.
