2007 (Junior): Seeing more time in the field and at the plate in her junior season, Alyce had a breakout offensive season for Pacific that resulted in her first career All-Big West selection as she earned second team honors as a utility player. As a jack-of-all-trades, Jorgensen did it all for the Tigers during the season as she posted a .280 batting average knocking in 29 runs and hitting a career-high five home runs, good enough for third most on the team. In addition to her presence at the plate, Jorgensen posted an 8-6 record in the circle for Pacific with a 3.53 ERA in 24 appearances and 119.0 innings pitched. When not in the circle, Jorgensen flashed the leather at third base as the Tigers starter at the hot corner from which she posted 59 assists in 47 games played.

2006 (Sophomore): One four starting pitchers in Pacific's stable of young arms, Alyce appeared in 20 contests, starting 14, in her second season. On the season, Jorgensen finished with a 5-7 record and a 3.41 ERA while throwing 67.2 innings. Throughout the season, Alyce started some of the Tigers' toughest games, leading Pacific to a 2-0 win over Kansas on Feb. 26 as the Tigers capped off a 4-1 week at the Palm Springs Classic. Her finest outing of the season arguably came in a 1-0 loss to No. 3 Arizona in the Tigers' first tournament of the season. Jorgensen threw a complete game against the Wildcats, giving up one run and seven hits while dueling pitch for pitch with Alicia Hollowell, one of the top pitchers in the country. At the plate, Jorgensen hit .107 with two doubles and three RBIs in a limited pinch-hitting role.

2005 (Freshman): In her first season in the Orange and Black, Jorgensen was thrown into the role of the Tigers' No. 2 pitcher. Bearing much of the pitching load, Alyce appeared in 31 contests, starting 22, compiling a 9-11 record and a 3.69 ERA. In addition, Jorgensen pitched nine complete games and earned one save in the circle for the Tigers. In 117.2 innings pitched, Jorgensen gave up 122 hits while striking out 47 and walking 66. Alyce earned her first collegiate victory on Feb. 6 as she pitched the Tigers past Santa Clara, 3-2. In five innings pitched, she gave up just one run on three hits. Alyce followed that performance with her first complete game, beating San Jose State, 3-2, on Feb. 12 as she gave up eight hits and two runs while striking out three.

High School: Jorgensen attended Los Altos High School in Los Altos, Calif. A four-sport letterwinner in softball, volleyball, field hockey, and basketball, Alyce competed for the Los Altos HS varsity softball team each of her four years. She earned all-league first team and team MVP honors each of her first two seasons. As a junior and senior, Jorgensen was recognized as the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League MVP and received all-league first team honors. In her first pitching appearance as a freshman, she led the Eagles to a 3-0 shutout win. The Los Altos Rotary Club and the San Jose Sharks each honored Alyce with their Leadership Award. At the club level, she competed for the Runnin Rebels Gold club team.

Personal: Alyce Jorgensen was born in Palo Alto, Calif. She is the daughter of Ted and Debbie Jorgensen and has one younger brother, Erik. Alyce is an education major in her fourth year at Pacific.
