2005 (Junior): The Tigers' third baseman continued her strong play on the hot corner for Pacific in 2005, making 102 defensive assists while committing just 13 errors. Her presence solidified the Tigers' left side that made nearly 40% off all of the defensive assists on the season. Offensively, Crystal's production slowed from her sophomore campaign as she hit .189 for the season while driving in 14 runs. Her three home runs pushed her career total to nine, placing her ninth on the Tigers' all-time career home runs list. Presson powered the Tigers to an opening 12-0 win over Minnesota at the Worth Invitational on Mar. 5 as she belted her third home run of the season while going 2-for-3 and knocking in three while scoring two runs herself.

2004 (Sophomore): Presson earned All-Big West Conference Honorable Mention recognition for the Tigers as a sophomore, batting .258 with seven doubles, one triple, three home runs, and 24 RBI in 58 starts. Her three home runs tied for second on the team. Crystal hit .385 (5-for-13) at the Palm Springs Classic, Feb. 20-21, with one double, two home runs, and eight RBI. She was 2-for-4 in the Tigers' 10-1 victory over Coastal Carolina on Feb. 21, with her first two home runs of the season (including a grand slam) and five RBI. Presson was one of four Tigers named to the all-tournament team at the season-opening Baylor Getterman Classic. Her two-run double in the top of the sixth inning lifted the Tigers to a 2-1 victory over tournament host Baylor on Feb. 7. Pacific went on to claim the tournament title with a perfect 5-0 mark.

2003 (Freshman): Presson started each of her 55 games as a freshman. She tallied a .176 batting average with three doubles, three home runs, and 14 RBI in 148 at bats. Crystal belted her first career intercollegiate home run in just her third career game as she cleared the fence in the first game of Pacific's home-opening doubleheader against Sacramento State on Feb. 4.

High School: Presson graduated with honors from Livermore High School in Livermore, Calif., where she was a four-year letterwinner at shortstop. She was a four-time All-East Bay Athletic League selection and three-time Most Valuable Player. Presson was recognized as Most Valuable Player of the Livermore Stampede Tournament after making a game-saving catch and then belting a game-winning double in a semifinal contest.

Personal: Crystal Presson was born in Livermore, Calif. She is the daughter of Larry and Carol Presson. Crystal is an education major in her fourth year at Pacific.

Kolze on Presson: "Crystal does a great job for us both at short and at third. She will probably be at third this season where she is possibly the best defensive third basemen this program has ever had. As she becomes a little more consistent offensively, she will be a major factor this season."
