In her first year as a graduate assistant coach, KC rejoins the Pacific swim team after lettering for four years with the Tigers and completing her undergraduate studies in sport sciences at Pacific. KC's assisting duties also extend to the Tiger Aquatics Club, as she serves as the head age group coach.

KC closed out her career placing in Pacific's women's top-10record books in the 1000 Free (10:11.10), 1650 Free (17:03.15) and 400 IM (4:25.29). As a senior at the Big West Championships, Albiston finished fourth in the 400 IM finals touching the wall in 4:25.26.

During her junior season at the Big West Championships KC made a top-10 finish and Pacific record books with a time of 4:25.29 in the 400 IM. In her first two seasons on orange and black, Albiston won back-to-back conference titles in the 1650 Free at the Big West Championships. During her freshman campaign she posted a time of 17:14.04 and went on to shatter that time by 11 seconds with a time of 17:03.15 as sophomore. In addition to her back-to-back 1650 Free conference titles, KC also topped all swimmers in the 1000 Free with a 10:11.10 race and finished fourth in the 500 Free (4:58.67) during her sophomore season.

KC attended Skyline High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she competed in varsity swimming and earned All-American honors. As a senior, Albiston set a new state record for Utah in the 500 Free with a time of 4:57.95.
