2004-05: Burrill recorded season best times in the 200 Back and 500 Free at the Big West Championships. She placed ninth in the 200 Back with a time of 2:04.94, which was the sixth best time in school history. 2003-04: Katy's second year with Pacific, saw her take an expanded role, setting season best times in the 100 and 200 Back as well as the 200, 500, and 1000 Free. She helped the women's team to a third Big West Championship with season best times in the 100 Back (58.38, career best) and 1000 Free (10:35.37, 12th best in school history). 2002-03: Burrill had an immediate impact in her first season at Pacific. She had season best times in the 100 Back (58.47) and the 200 Back (2:05.30) at the Big West Championships. High School: Katy attended Clovis West High School in Fresno, Calif., where she lettered in swimming all four years. She was an All-American in the 100 Back. Katy also excelled in the classroom as she made the Academic All-American team and was named to Who's Who Among American High School Students. Personal: Katy Burrill was born in Fresno, Calif., and is the daughter of Richard and Janet Burrill. Katy is an exploratory major in her fourth year at Pacific. |
