That time also ties her career-best speed in the event. 2005-06 (University of Illinois): Meghan spent her freshman year swimming for the University of Illinois in her home state, before transferring to Pacific. High School: Meghan attended Hinsdale Central High School in Hinsdale, Ill., where she was the captain of her swimming and water polo teams. Connor earned MVP honors in swimming for her efforts as a senior and MVP honors in water polo as a sophomore and again as a senior. The Red Devils were Illinois High School Swimming Association (IHSSA) conference champs all four years of Connor's stint at Hinsdale Central HS, and as a part of such a high-profile team, Meghan was a nine time All-American. She comes to Pacific as a transfer from the University of Illinois. Personal: Meghan Connor was born in Chicago, Ill., and she is the daughter of Scott and Yamina Connor. She has two siblings, Caitlin and Stephan, who swam for Florida State. In her spare time, Meghan enjoys reading, writing, photography and traveling.
