2004-05: Laura recorded three top five finishes at the Big West Championships, including a successful defense of her 1650 Free title, swimming in 16:56.38. Her other two top fives were a third place finish in the 1000 Free (10:13.16) and a fifth place finish in the 500 Free (5:03.01).

2003-04: McDonald led the Tigers in the distance events in 2003-04, swimming season best times at the Big West Championships in the 1000 Free (10:07.87) and 1650 Free (16:45.47). She was the individual champ in the 1650 Free at the Big West Championships.

2002-03: In 2002-03, McDonald showcased her talent and had an immediate impact in her first season at Pacific. She set the school record in the 1000 Free (10:03.84) and 1650 Free (16:37.68) and helped the Tigers repeat as Big West champions. She also recorded a season best time in the 500 Free with a time of 4:53.26.

High School: Laura attended Riverside Poly High School in Riverside, Calif. She lettered in swimming for four years and was team MVP her freshman year. Laura was a three-time NISCA All-American. She earned GSE Honors and is a United States Swimming Scholastic All-American.

Personal: Laura McDonald was born in Riverside, Calif., and is the daughter of Bill and Mickey McDonald. Laura is an exploratory major in her fourth year at Pacific .
