2004-05: Okazaki had a strong freshman campaign, emerging as the Tigers' best swimmer in the 200 Fly. She recorded a fourth place finish at the Big West Championships with a time of 2:02.37, which is the fourth fastest time in school history. She also finished fourth in the conference in the 200 IM, recording a time of 2:05.83, good enough for seventh place on the Tigers all time list. High School: Kristin attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Auburn, Wash., where she lettered three years in swimming. She swam the 100 Fly and the 200 IM during her three years on the team. Kristin was also part of the King Aquatic Club during the summers. Personal: Kristin Okazaki was born in Tacoma, Wash., and is the daughter of Mike and Cheryl Okazaki. Kristin is majoring in business administration in her first year at Pacific. |
