2006-07 (Junior): Okazaki again held top marks for the Tigers with times of 55.49 in the 100 Fly and 2:00.53 in the 200 Fly events. Both of Kristin's best times were captured at the Big West Championships as she finished in third place overall. The times also place her third and fourth in the Tigers' history books for the events respectively. Okazaki also held the second fastest team time in the 200 IM where she recorded a 2:05.62 at the Big West Championships.
2005-06 (Sophomore): Kristin placed fifth in the 200 Fly and sixth in the 100 Fly at the Big West Championships. Her times in the 100 Fly (57.24) and the 200 Fly (2:02.57) were the fastest for the team on the year. In addition, Kristin competed in the 200 IM (2:08.67) throughout the season.
2004-05 (Freshman): Okazaki had a strong freshman campaign, emerging as the Tigers' best swimmer in the 200 Fly. She recorded a fourth place finish at the Big West Championships with a time of 2:02.37, which is the fourth fastest time in school history. She also finished fourth in the conference in the 200 IM, recording a time of 2:05.83, good enough for seventh place on the Tigers all time list.
High School: Kristin attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Auburn, Wash., where she lettered three years in swimming. She swam the 100 Fly and the 200 IM during her three years on the team. Kristin was also part of the King Aquatic Club during the summers.
Personal: Kristin Okazaki was born in Tacoma, Wash., and is the daughter of Mike and Cheryl Okazaki. She has one brother, Colin (19). Kristin is majoring in business administration in her fourth year at Pacific.
