Spring 2008 (Sophomore):

After a solid year with the Tigers, Arens earned a 2008 Big West All-Conference honorable mention in singles play. Svenja finished the spring season 10-10, and went 1-0 from the No. 1 position and 9-10 at No. 2. Against Weber State, Arens swept the match from the No. 1 spot after two quick games (6-3, 6-2) on Jan. 26 to help Pacific to a 7-0 decision. Paired with Sasha Fisher and Kateryna Nezhura, Svenja finished the season with records of 3-8 and 3-5, respectively in doubles play. For the second year in a row, Arens claimed honorable mention after nabbing the honor with partner Vana Mrazovic during her freshman year. Svenja's overall 2007-08 season record (18-15) ranks second on the year, while her tally in the win column was the highest of any 2007-08 player.

Fall 2007 (Sophmore):

In the fall of her sophomore campagin, Arens led the Tigers with a 8-5 record in singles competition. At the Fresno State Bulldog Classic, Svenja notched two victories in singles play of the opening two rounds to move into the round of 16, eventually falling In the quarterfinals to Nevada's top player, Maria Mizyuk. In doubles play, Arens paired with two different partners, Sasha Fisher and Kateryna Nezhura and posted a combined 4-5 doubles record.

Spring 2007 (Freshman):

Svenja Arens posted a team best 11-11 record during the spring season, including a 10-6 record at the No. 3 singles position. Overall she went 21-17 during her freshman year at Pacific. Arens recorded a 17-14 record as she paired with five different partners, including a 10-6 record with former partner Vana Mrazovic as the dual went 10-6 at the No. 2 position. Arens earned honorable mention honor in doubles with partner Mrazovic. The dual ended the season with a 12-7 doubles mark, including 10-6 at No. 2 doubles and 2-1 at No. 1. Individually, Arens earned honorable mention singles honors after posting an 11-11 record, which includes an impressive 10-6 mark at No. 3 singles.

Fall 2006 (Freshman):

Arens posted a team best 10-6 singles record during the fall campaign, which included blue singles flight consolation victory at the Cal Fall Invitational, where she defeated teammate Clara Schuhmacher 6-1, 2-1, ret. inj. Svenja recorded a 4-5 doubles record for the Tigers.

Svenja Arens was born in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany and is the daughter of Christiane and Frank Arens. She has two siblings, Christian and Niklas. In her third year at Pacific, Svenja is majoring in business.
