Before Pacific (TCU): Lizzy spent her first two seasons at Texas Christian University where she saw limited playing time due to injuries. In the 2002-03 fall tournament season, Kenfield went 2-1 in singles play and 2-2 in doubles before she was forced to have season ending surgery. Academically, she was named twice to the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for having a GPA of 3.0 or better. High School: Kenfield graduated from Redwood High School in 2002 where she was a three-time letterwinner in tennis along with winning letters in both soccer and track. In her first season, Lizzy was the Valley Champion in doubles. She was named her team's MVP three times and was the team captain her senior season. Outside of school, Lizzy took home the Visalia Invitational singles crown in both 1998 and 2000. Personal: Elizabeth Kenfield was born in Bellvue, Wash. and is the daughter of Ann and Steve Kenfield. In her first year at Pacific she is majroing in sport science. |
