Fall 2006 (Senior): Vana posted a 1-3 mark in singles play and a 2-4 mark in doubles action with three different partners during the fall season. Spring 2006 (Junior): Vana was 6-8 for the Tigers in singles dual matches during her junior campaign, including a 5-1 mark at the No. 2 singles position for the Tigers. Mrazovic posted a 6-10 overall doubles mark, including a 6-9 record with partner Jolanta Twarowska at the No. 1 doubles position. Vana earned honorable mention All-Big West honors in singles, marking her fifth All-Big West award. Fall 2005 (Junior): During the fall of 2005, Mrazovic was 2-4 in singles play and a combined 3-5 in doubles competition with three different partners. Spring 2005 (Sophomore): Vana was 16-8 in singles dual matches during her second spring season with the Tigers. She played exclusively at the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions. Mrazovic was 15-8 with partner, Katharina Heil in doubles action. Following the season, Vana earned All-Big West First Team honors both as a singles player and as a doubles team with Heil. Fall 2004 (Sophomore): During the fall tournament season, Vana went 5-3 in singles action and an impressive 5-1 in doubles with partner, Katharina Heil. Vana's best shot for a tournament championship at the Bulldog Classic was derailed due to injury after cruising through her first two matches and the first set in the quarterfinals. Spring 2004 (Freshman): Mrazovic came to the Tigers in the spring season and immediately made an impact as she stepped into and dominated the No. 2 singles position. She put together a 10 match winning streak to start the season and an 11-2 record in No. 2 singles. Vana was asked to play some No. 1 singles late in the season and went 4-2 in the top spot. In addition, Mrazovic went a perfect 6-0 in conference matches. In doubles, with her partner, Katharina Heil, she compiled a 12-9 overall record in her first season. For her play, she garnered All-Big West First Team honors in both singles and doubles. High School: Vana came to Pacific from High Tourist School in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, from which she graduated in 2003. Personal: Vana Mrazovic is the daughter of Milana Mrazovic. In her fourth year at Pacific, Vana is majoring in sport medicine. |
