Spring 2007 (Junior): Schneider posted an 8-13 record overall in singles during the season, including a 2-4 mark at No. 3 singles. In doubles play Helen went 6-13 with three different partners including a 4-6 record with partner Carla Tamborini at the No. 3 position. Fall 2006 (Junior): Helen did not compete in the fall season for the Tigers as she was studying abroad. Spring 2006 (Sophomore): Schneider posted a 9-11 mark in singles action during the dual season, including a 6-6 mark at No. 6 singles. Helen also posted wins when called upon due to injuries at the No. 4 and No. 5 singles positions. She recorded a 5-15 record in doubles play, including a 5-14 record with partner Clara Schuhmacher at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles positions. Fall 2005 (Sophomore): In her first tournament season with Pacific, Helen was 1-6 in singles action and 3-2 with two doubles partners. Spring 2005 (Freshman): Schneider joined the Tigers prior to the Spring 2005 season. She recorded a 5-6 record at No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions. In doubles play, she posted a 4-2 record with three different partners. High School: Helen came to Pacific after graduating from the Gymnasium auf der Karthause in Koblenz, Germany in 2004. During her playing days, Schneider was a two-time champion of the Rheinland-Pflazmeisterin and the Rheinlandmeisterin. Academically, Helen received her schools Pierre de Conbertin Medaille. Personal: Helen Schneider was born in Koblenz, Germany and is the daughter of Helmut Schneider and Monika Schneider-Schmidt. In her third year at Pacific she is majoring in business. |
