Spring 2008 (Junior):
Schuhmacher finished her junior year with a 10-16 overall record after completing the spring 6-13 in singles play. From the No. 4 spot she went 0-2 and found better luck at the fifth spot, finishing 6-11 on the year individually. As for doubles play, Clara spent time with three different players throughout the year. She partnered with Kateryna Nezhura to post a 3-8 record in the spring, went 0-3 with Sasha Fisher and then teamed up with Olga Gumenyuk for an even 3-3 record in doubles play.
Fall 2007 (Junior):
During the tournament season of her junior campaign, Clara compiled a winning singles record of 4-3 and advanced to the semi-finals of both the Cal Invitiaonal and the Saint Mary's Invitational. In doubles play, Schuhmacher partnered with Kateryna Nezhura and Sasha Fisher and amassed a combine record of 3-3.
Spring 2007 (Sophomore):
Schuhmacher posted a 6-6 record during the spring season, and 11-12 overall for her second season as a Tiger, including a 2-1 record at the No. 4 position. Schuhmacher recorded a 3-3 mark as she participated at the No. 6 position.
Fall 2006 (Sophomore):
Schuhmacher posted a 5-6 mark in singles play and a 1-5 mark in doubles play during the fall season. Clara advanced to the consolation finals of the blue singles flight at the Cal Fall Invitational, where she was defeated by teammate Svenja Arens 6-1, 2-1 ret. inj.
Spring 2006 (Freshman):
Clara joined the Tigers prior to the spring 2006 season and posted a 7-12 singles record, including a 6-5 mark at No. 5 singles. Clara also recorded a victory at No. 3 singles when called upon by Coach Chiene in 2006. Schuhmacher posted a 5-14 record in doubles play with partner Helen Schneider at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles positions for the Tigers.
High School:
Schuhmacher graduated from I. E. S. Goya High School in Zaragoza, Spain in 2005.
Personal:
Clara Schuhmacher is the daughter of Gerardo and Clara Schuhmacher. She has two brothers, Jorge and Enrique. In her fourth year at Pacific, Clara is majoring in business.
