Santa Clara, Calif. Behind a strong showing from the top of their lineup, the Pacific women's tennis team earned a 5-2 victory over Santa Clara on Saturday March 1.

The victory lifted them to 3-6 on the season.

Pacific earned the doubles point and captured victories in four of the individual matches. With great play all the way through the lineup, each of Pacific's six women added at least one victory to their stat page.

Junior Jolanta Twarowska (Hamburg, Germany) picked up singles and doubles victories helping to push the Tigers past the Broncos.

Junior Clara Schumacher (Zaragoza, Spain) nabbed the clinching point with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 victory over Ashley Pane.

The Tigers will be back in action Sunday March, 2 on their home Hal Nelson Tennis Courts in Stockton Calif. Match begins at 1:00pm
