Stanford, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team concluded action at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships as junior Jolanta Twarowska (Hamburg, Germany) was eliminated in the third round on Saturday, Oct. 17.

After two impressive victories on Friday, Jolanta battled the 13th seeded Jana Juricova of California in the third round, falling in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0. Three other Tigers competed in singles consolation matches with junior Clara Schumacher (Zaragoza, Spain) and sophomore Kateryna Nezhura (Kiev, Ukraine) each earned victories.

The Tigers return to action during the spring season as Pacific participates in the UNLV Invitational starting on Jan. 23.
