Indian Wells, Calif. - The Pacific men's and women's tennis teams will compete in the 2007 Big West Champions, to be held April 27th-29th in Indian Wells, Calif. at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Leading the men's team into battle are the red-hot doubles tandem of sophomore Moritz Starke (Bamberg, Germany) and senior Vladimir Zdravkovic (Pancevo, Serbia & Montenegro). The duo captured an 8-5 victory over the then No. 8 ranked doubles team in the country, Matt Bruch and Blake Muller of Stanford, on April 17th.

On the women's side, five time All-Big West selection Vana Mrazovic (Belgrade, Serbia & Montenegro) leads a hungry Pacific team into battle. The Tigers come into the tournament winning two of their last three dual matches, with the lone loss of the stretch coming to No. 16 ranked Fresno State this past weekend.

The men's team gets underway on Friday as the fifth seeded Tigers take on the No. 4 seed UC Riverside at 9am.

The sixth seeded women's team will also begin action on Friday, taking on the No. 3 seeded Cal State Northridge Matadors at 3pm.
