Pacific Women's Volleyball Performs Well at Tigers' Spring Tournament

Tigers take 11 of 12 games on Saturday, April 4

Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific women's volleyball team hosted its annual spring tournament on Saturday, Apr. 4. The Tigers played three game matches with Nevada, San Jose State, Sonoma State and UC Davis. Chico State also participated in the tournament.

Each match consisted of two games to 25, the new standard for women's volleyball, followed by one game to 15. Pacific posted an 11-1 record on the day.

"I was very pleased with the apparent increase in strength and fitness," said head coach Charlie Wade. "Our team's hard work in the weight room is paying off, we were more physical from the service line, attacking and blocking than we were last year."
