2008 (Freshman): Boettger played in 31 games for the Tigers last year. As a driver, she netted the third most goals for all freshmen on the team with nine. Academically, she earned the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-American Academic Award. High School: Boettger attended Lincoln High School in Stockton, Calif., where she earned four varsity letters in swimming and three in water polo. She was the captain of her water polo team in 2006 and 2007. As a senior, Courtney received her school's senior female athlete of the year award. Courtney received all-league honors on two occasions in her high school career as a Trojan. Personal: Courtney Boettger was born in Stockton, Calif., and is the daughter of Michael and Christina Boettger. In her spare time she enjoys snowboarding and wakeboarding. In her second year at Pacific, Courtney is a diversified liberal studies major. |
