2007 (Junior): As a junior, Gray reverted back to the Tigers' goalkeeper, as she appeared in 29 games on the season. Jocelyn finished the year amassing an impressive 210 saves, ranking her third on Pacific's all-time single season saves list. Gray allowed only 353 goals in 2007 and she recorded a saves/game average of 7.24. 2006 (Sophomore): Jocelyn was forced to play in the field during her sophomore campaign for the short-handed Tigers, moving into the driver position. She showed that she was a versatile player, scoring 10 goals on the season. She scored a career high two goals against Cal State Northridge on March 11th and against Santa Clara on April 2nd. 2005 (Freshman): Jocelyn started all 33 games in goal for the Tigers, allowing just 8.2 goals per game. She averaged 6.7 blocks per game and recorded a career high 13 blocks on February 20th against Sonoma State. High School: Gray attended Strathmore High School in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada, where she was part of the golf, swimming, and water polo teams. Gray was named team MVP in both golf and swimming. She was also named to the Canadian Junior women's water polo national team in which she was the goalie. In the classroom, Jocelyn was the treasurer of grad committee and the 2004 SHS Ambassador. Personal: Jocelyn Gray was born in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada, and is the daughter of Scott and Marie Gray. Her brother, Paul, also plays water polo as he plays for the Calgary Renegades. In her spare time, Jocelyn likes to read, shop, and just hang out with friends. In her fourth year at Pacific, Gray is majoring in bioengineering. |
