2008 (Sophomore): Jill was limited to three matches in 2008, while rehabbing from shoulder surgery. In front of the net she made 10 saves, while only allowing 21 goals to be scored during those contests. The lone returning goalie for the 2009 season, Hauck also excels in the classroom, earning the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-American Academic Award. 2007 (Freshman): Hauck appeared in 15 of the Tigers' 30 contests in 2007. While in goal, she recorded an impressive 66 saves and allowed only 121 goals to be scored against the Tigers' defense. She finished the season with an average of 8.06 goals allowed per game. High School: Jill attended Pottsville Area High School in Pottsville, Penn., where she earned three varsity letters in water polo as her team's goalie. As the captain of her team, Jill earned third team all-state honors as a junior and first team all-state honors as a senior. Personal: Jill Hauck was born in Reading, Penn., and is the daughter of Del and Teresa Hauck. In her third year at Pacific, Jill is majoring in business administration. |
