High School: Pavik attended Galena High School in Reno, Nev.,where she was a letterwinner in both swimming and water polo. Pavik was named team MVP for three years in water polo as well as being named Most Improved player. She also excelled in swimming, earning the team MVP honors three times and was named Most Outstanding Freshman. Pavik set school records for most goals and steals each season during her four years of playing water polo. Personal: Marla Pavik was born on June 9, 1986 in Washington D.C., and is the daughter of James and Deona Pavik. In her first year at Pacific, Marla is majoring in business. |
