High School: Ruiz attended Laguna Hills High School in Laguna Hills, Calif., where she lettered four years in water polo and three years in swimming. He helped the Hawks to a 19-7 record in water polo during the 2003-04 season. In her junior year, Ruiz earned team MVP honors and was a Sea View League honorable mention. In her freshman year, Ruiz set the record for most goals in a game with seven. Out side of sports, Alicia was a three-year letterman in drama. Personal: Alicia Ruiz was born on May 19, 1986 in Anaheim, Calif., and is the daughter of Louis and Josie Ruiz. In her first year at Pacific, Alicia is majoring in political science with a minor in pre-law. She has a career interest in going to law school to become a lawyer and then one day a supreme court justice. |
