
Sarah Harris Earns Honorable Mention All-MPSF and MPSF All-Freshman Team Honors
April 24, 2007 Woodland, Calif. - Pacific freshman Sarah Harris (Cape Town, South Africa) earned Honorable Mention All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and MPSF All-Freshman Team women's water polo honors, as announced April 24th by MPSF Executive Director Al Beaird. Harris, who led the MPSF in goals per game (3.73) and goals scored (97) was the only freshman named All-MPSF. She scored a career high nine goals against Cal State Monterey Bay on March 4th, which ties her for the most in school history in a single game with Molly Smith (1997-2000) who accomplished the feat three times. Harris also holds the school record for goals in a season, and ranks fourth All-Time in career goals at Pacific in just her first campaign in the Orange and Black. MPSF Player, Newcomer and Coach of the Year will be announced after the 2007 MPSF Women's Water Polo Championship Tournament at Arizona State, April 26-29. The Tigers open up tournament play against No. 4 Hawai'i at 10am on April 26th.
