Pacific's Cumulative GPA Ranks 18th In Nation

Stockton, Calif. - The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches revised its 2008 All-American Academic Awards list this week and 10 Pacific women's players made the cut for their 2007-08 academic performances.

All-American Academic status is broken down into three sub-divisions: Outstanding, which is a 3.71 to 4.0, Superior with a 3.41 to 3.7 range and finally Excellent from a 3.2 to 3.4 GPA.

Pacific had three Outstanding, one Superior and six Excellent recipients among candidates across the nation.

As a unit, Pacific's cumulative GPA ranked 18th in the nation, with a 3.09. The water polo team with the nation's highest GPA is the squad at Macalester College, with a 3.54 cumulative GPA.
