2008 (Sophomore): In her first race of the year at the Doc Adams Invitational, Katie finished 35th posting a time of 27:50.50 to help the Tigers finish in third as a team. At the Santa Clara Bronco Cross Country Invitational, she set her personal best time of 21:31 for the 5K race. Katie set another personal best time at the Big West Championships for the 6K race with a time of 25:57.70, to finish 70th. High School: Katie graduated from Beavercreek High School in Beavercreek, Ohio where was a five-time letter winner for the Beavers in both cross country and softball. Showing her versatility in a wide variety of sports throughout her career, Bella was named MVP of her softball team in 2007. In cross country, Bella posted her best career 5K time of 21:30 at the Centerville High School Stampede Invitational. Personal: Kaitlin Bella is the daughter of Bryan Bella and Lori Lucas and has two siblings: older sister Ashley and younger brother Jacob. In her second year at Pacific, Katie is majoring in international relations and global studies. |
