In her first race of the season, Devon finished 35th with a time of 23:43.36 for the 5K race at the Mills Invitational. In the Tigers ninth place finish at the Big West Championships, Devon contributed with her personal record time of 27:09.90 in the 6K race, to take a 73rd place finish.

High School:

Devon graduated from Germantown Academy in Fort Washington, Penn. where she was a four sport athlete and eight-time letter winner. In her three years of lettering for the Patriots in cross country, Blount earned several awards including being named Inter-Academic League Athlete of the Meet in 2007. Putting her athleticism on display for the Patriots, Blount played power forward on the hardwood, ran the hurdles in track, and made the varsity volleyball squad.

Personal:

Devon Blount is the daughter of Lori McCauley and Don Blount, and has five siblings; older brother Bryant, younger brothers Alex and Anderson, and younger sisters Zoe and Mia. Her mother Lori, was a 1984 Olympic alternate in the 400m hurdles. In her second year at Pacific, Devon is majoring in international relations and Russian.
