2004 (Freshman): Ainsley had a very successful first season at Pacific, finishing among the top three runners for the Tigers in all six events in 2004. Her best race of the year would have set the school record in a 5K as she finished the San Francisco State Invitational in 19:25, however teammate Jessica Daley ran the race in 19:04.7. Cray finished 18th at that race. High School: Ainsley graduated from Rhinelander High School in Rhinelander, Wisconsin in 2004. Cray was named to the Wisconsin Vally All-Conference Team in both 2001 and 2003 as she finished third in the conference meet in 2001 and tenth in 2003. At Rhinelander HS, Cray earned a combined seven letters in cross country, soccer and alpine skiing. In the classroom, Ainsley earned the Presidential Academic Achievement Award and an Athletic Student Award. Personal: Ainsley Cray is the daughter of Bruce and Laura Cray. She has two siblings, Tristan (21) and Heidi (16). In her second year at Pacific, Ainsley is a majoring in film studies. |
