2007 (Freshman):

In her first year as a Tiger, Krisitina produced solid numbers for the Pacific squad. Hammarstrom recorded her best 6K time ever on Sept. 8 at the Chico Inviational where she ran a 26:12. Hammarstrom's best finish came on Sept. 17 at the Sacramento State Invitational where she posted a time of 21:12 for a 27th place finish. At the Big West Championships Hammarastrom finished 54th overall, and recorded a time of 25:17.

High School:

Kristina attended East Union High School in Manteca, Calif. where she earned three varsity letters in cross country and four in track. She earned All-League honors as a sophomore, a junior, and a senior in cross country and as a senior she was the MVP of the Valley Oak League in cross country and in track.

Personal:

Kristina Hammarstrom was born in Modesto, Calif. and is the daughter of Brent and Barbara Hammarstrom. She has two siblings, Sarah (19) and Jessey (24). In her spare time she enjoys knitting, crocheting, and sewing. In her first year at Pacific she plans to major in business administration.
