2007 (Junior):

Micaela continued to anchor the Pacific squad in her third year with the program. After posting a team high 12th place finish at the Sacramento State Inviational in the 5K, with a 19:24 on Sept. 17, Klaus followed it up with a 21:55 at the Pepperdine Invitational on Sept. 22. Klaus also posted the best time for the Tiger team at the Big West Championships on Oct. 27 with a time of 24:03.6 for a 41st place finish.

2006 (Sophomore):

Micaela's second season with the Tigers was highlighted by a twelfth place finish at the San Francisco State Invitational where she covered the 6K course in a time of 23:51. Her personal best in the 5K is currently 17:54 going into this season and her finishes of 42nd and 157th at the Big West Championships and at the NCAA Regional Championships were the best on the team throughout the championship portion of the season last year.

2005 (Freshman):

In her first season with the Tigers Klaus made an immediate impact on the team by scoring in each of the six meets in 2005. She also finished as the second runner for Pacific on three different occasions. One of Micaela's best finishes of the year was at the Aggie Open on Sept. 10 where she ran the 5K in 20:23 placing 49th overall.

High School:

Micaela graduated from Peru High School in Peru, N.Y. She earned letters in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track as an Indian. Following the 2002 and 2003 season, Michaela was a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference All-Star. She also qualified for the state competition in the 3000m in 2002. Her best time in high school was a 19:38.

Personal:

Micaela Klaus is the daughter of Marshall Klaus. She was born in Washington D. C. and has two siblings, Kathleen (22) and Owen (15). In her third year at Pacific, Micaela is a philosophy and pre-law major. She would eventually like to go to law school.
