2007 (Freshman) Competing in her first collegiate running year Victoria posted her season-best finish of 80th place at the Cal Poly Invitational on Oct. 13 with a time of 25:04. In her first year at the Big West Championships Lam finished 61st overall, completing the course in a time of 31:09. High School: Victoria attended Skyline High School in Oakland, Calif. where she competed and lettered in cross country and wrestling in her four years as a Titan. She graduated in June of 2007. Personal: Victoria Lam was born in Oakland, Calif. and is the daughter of Joe Lam and Lai Lai Yu. In her free time she enjoys running, playing sports, and hanging out with friends. In her second year at Pacific Victoria plans to major in sports sciences. She plans to eventually become an athletic trainer. |
