Tigers place 10th at Big West Championships

Irvine, Calif. - The Pacific cross country team finished in tenth place out of ten teams on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Pacific sophomore Jessica Daley (Antioch, Calif.) paced the Tigers as she finished the 6k race with a time of 23:15.3, just over two seconds off Pacific's school record of 23:13, set by

Katie Beck (Engel) in 2001 at the SFSU Invite

Sophomore Jill Himlan (Santa Cruz, Calif.) and freshman Ainsley Cray (Rhinelander, Wisc.) came in just over a minute after Daley at 24:18.4 and 24:19.3 respectively.

Pacific will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 13 at the NCAA Regionals in Fresno, Calif.
