Tigers wrap up season at NCAA West Regionals

FRESNO, Calif. - The Pacific women's cross country team concluded its 2004 season with a 28th place team finish at the NCAA West Region Championships on Saturday, Nov. 13, at Woodward Park.

Sophomore Jill Himlan (Santa Cruz, Calif.) was the Tigers' top individual finisher with a time of 24:43 in the 6K race. She placed 169th overall. Sophomore Jessica Daley (Antioch, Calif.) also broke the 25-minute mark for Pacific with a time of 24:45, placing 170th overall.

Freshman Ainsley Cray (Rhinelander, Wisc.) placed 180th (25:58), freshman Francesca Au (Concord, Calif.) was 184th (26:46), and junior Kiran Punwani (Fremont, Calif.) was 185th (27:14), to round out Pacific's lineup.
