11 Tigers in three sports earn Academic All-Big West Spring Honors
 
 
11 Tigers Named Academic All-Big West Conference Fall Athletes

Irvine, Calif. - The Big West Conference announced that 122 student-athletes from nine member institutions earned Academic All-Big West honors while participating in the fall sports of women's volleyball, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's cross country. Of the 122 student-athletes, 11 of the honorees are the Tigers.

To be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes have to maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, have attained a sophomore standing academically and competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.

Seniors Shannon Krug (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Natalia Tomaszewska (Marklowice, Poland) and Kara Uhl (Long Beach, Calif.) represented the Tigers for women's volleyball.

Pacific soccer added three to the list in junior Chelsea Gomes (Coto de Caza, Calif.) and sophomores Kim Hargrave (La Palma, Calif.) and Sammi Teramae (Kapolei, Hawaii).

Rounding out Pacific's academic honorees was a quartet of runners from the women's cross country team. Among the honorees were seniors Micaela Klaus (Peru, NY) and Meghan Mullen (South San Francisco, Calif.), junior Kristina Hammarstrom (Manteca, Calif.) and sophomore Katie Bella (Beavercreek, Ohio).
